SIT College of Engineering is established in 2011; SIT Alumni Association creates and maintains a life-long connection between the Institute and its alumni. The Alumni Association works to connect alumni, support students and build an unforgettable Institute experience through a diversity of events, programming and services.

The mission of the Association is to foster strong bonds between alumni, students and the Institute, to keep alumni informed, and create a network enabling them to remain engaged with their alma mater and help shape it’s future through the Association’s programmes and services. Joining SIT College of Engineering Alumni Association is one of the easiest ways to reconnect, give back to the Institute, and serve as a springboard for further involvement.

SIT is extremely proud of its alumni, who are either driven business owners or accomplished professionals in a variety of economic fields. Through annual alumni gatherings, we hope to solicit their assistance, and we anticipate their mentoring of our current students through networking forums.

Whether you are interested in research, academia, industry, entrepreneurship, or management, we would want to hear about your experiences that may serve as an inspiration to others.

Vision

SIT Alumni Association shall serve as a platform to bridge the gap of student – alumni interaction by strengthening of both present and future alumnus with support to build a social, knowledgeable and motivational capital for SIT and its students.

Mission

To connect the existing alumnus and bridge the gap of communication between alumnus and students.

To promote exchange of academic and corporate experience with the students of SIT.

To mentor and channelize the efforts of the students seeking better opportunities to learn and grow.

To promote a goodwill and sense of pride to both alumni and students.

To help and support alumnus develop and spread a philanthropic and entrepreneurial mindset among students.

To advice and conduct activities that shall motivate and upgrade student skill sets.

To work with institution assets to suggest new technologies and improvements that shall benchmark industrial expectations.

To associate with the institution management in planning and execution of alumni events.
